With a deep sense of responsibility, I accept this Honour of serving as the President of the Indian Chapter of the IHPBA.

We have been fortunate to have excellent leadership in the past, and the future is destined to be bright, too - with younger and abler colleagues coming forward.

It’s also a great time for Indian HPB doctors who have achieved pinnacles in all HPB diseases, whether in technique or technology, passion or personalised patient care. For the 2024 World Congress at Cape Town, we have had record maximum submissions along with USA speaking volumes quietly!

Collaboration, building bridges and inclusivity for all irrespective of access, region, and gender is going to be our continuing theme with a thrust on education and research.

The Executive Committee sincerely requests all our members to contact us and offer their ideas, suggestions, complaints, solutions and anything possible to improve.

We hope the association achieves everything you all hope for and everything it strives for!
